Let me introduce you Hanna, one of the first mehackit instructors in Sweden. She applied for the position while she was on a break from her vehicle engineering bachelor’s program in Stockholm.
“It was amazing to instruct teenagers with Arduino and Processing”, she told me. Being an instructor enabled her to see new ways of combining programming and arts – exploring maker culture with Arduino and visual arts with Processing.
Hanna learned coding already during her bachelors, but it was only when she stumbled into the world of electronics and microcontrollers that she realized which possibilities technological skills like coding open up. As Hanna has always been into arts, she decided to pursue a more artistic direction in her masters, and is currently studying New Media Design and Production at Aalto university.
